The IASB is seeking a number of board members over the next three years who will serve a five year term, with eligibility for renewal for a further five years. The roles are full-time and are based in London. The members of the Board meet monthly to review and discuss new papers and projects.

XBRL Team is redeveloping the IFRS Taxonomy in order to reflect the new versions of IFRSs. Among some improvements, the IFRS Taxonomy 2008 will include new XBRL technologies such as Versioning, Dimensions and Rendering.
